Medication Safety
I have been designing in the healthcare space for the past 6 years, with a focus on a platform for pharmacists and physicians that makes prescribing medication safe for people taking 12 or more medications per day. The platform is the first of its kind and has constantly evolved. Innovation requires speed, and speed requires lo-fidelity mockups and constant feedback.

Speed to Market
“Move fast and break stuff,” is the motto of startup design teams. The key to moving fast is focusing on design just enough to keep the team moving, while not overlooking potential points of failure.
Wireframes are a perfect tool for communicating design and user experience, without losing time to details that are not critical to the current sprint’s work.

Rapid Design Iteration
Momentum and speed during wireframing moves seamlessly to the high fidelity design phase by focusing on specific components and user stories.
Accessible by Design
This iteration removes the reliance on color to convery meaning, instead using scale to indicate higher and lower values.
Responsive Design
Healthcare technology and design is stuck in an age where black screens with green text and bloated interfaces are common.
That didn’t stop me from designing for now and the future. Each interface was carefully designed and tested for touch screens, tablets and phones, because it is easier to do it now than refactoring later.
